Available in a carton of 16 x 500ml bottles, we occasionally sneak BoHo Pils into some of our mixed cartons too.

Pilsner fun fact

The world’s first pale lager was brewed in the town of Pilsen in Bohemia, a part of the Czech Republic, by Bavarian (German) brewer Josef Groll in 1842 and its overnight success was in part attributed to the soft water (very low mineral content) and Saaz hops grown nearby. Groll was employed in a brewery set up by the city officials which was called, in English, Citizens Brewery. The beer was called Pilsner Urquell and it’s still in production today. In Germany there is a beer named for the creator: Josef Groll Pils brewed by Wolferstetter Brewery in Groll’s home town Vilshofen. (Source: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pilsner).
