One Man, Seven Sheds

Seven Sheds is a craft brewery and mead making enterprise offering beer and mead by the glass and by the bottle, brewery tours by prior arrangement and online cellar door.

Seven Sheds opened for business in 2008 and continues to operate in its original “backyard” premises where visitors can see hops growing, sample the brews and meet the brewers.

The range includes a number of beers inspired by ingredients grown and produced in the Cradle Coast region including quinoa, oats, raspberries and honey. While the style is heavily influenced by English and European ales, Seven Sheds also produces quirky styles including a beetroot steam ale, a barrel-aged india pale ale and a tart cherry saison brewed with Kentish cherries.

Seven Sheds also produces a range of mead wines and one or more is usually available for tasting on request. The meads range from sweet and sparkling table wines to dry, medium and spiced meads.

Testimonials

“Blink and you’ll miss it. It’s hidden away but well worth a visit. A microbrewery complete with its own hop garden. The beers were great, the service was friendly. I grabbed a few takeaways as the Seven Sheds range is difficult to find here in Sydney. Cant wait to visit again on our next trip to Tassie.”

“Love drinking in sheds! Coming here takes you back to brewing on your garage, funky venue. The beers tasted clean, and the head brewer was very engaging. I specially loved the platypus but my partner prefers the Willie warmer. We look forward to seeing your beers on the main land!!”

“We just spent the afternoon at the brewery door. It was the 2nd time that we have been and it didn’t disappoint. Friendly staff that are so accommodating and delicious beer in relaxing surroundings. I love that you can take your own good and have a picnic whilst enjoying the beer. Awesome.”
